Sankey Canal Learning Pack

The Sankey Canal Restoration Society education learning pack for Key Stage 1 & 2 is available to download here.

As well as learning about the wildlife and leisure aspects of the canal currently, the learning pack is a fantastic way for children to learn about the history of a a historical first. Find out why the Sankey Canal was important to St Helens, the UK and the world!

It was funded by National Lottery Heritage Fund through the Creative Underground project (St Helens Archive Service) as part of St Helens Borough of Culture 2023.
