Eccleston Hall built 1829
Home of the Taylor family, Cotton Manufacturers from Moston.
Samuel Taylor donated part of his Eccleston Hall estate to the people of the town to form Taylor Park in 1893
It later opened as Eccleston Hall Sanatorium in 1914
