The brickmark is for Adamantine bricks made by Charles Davison & Co Ltd. Ewloe Barn Brick and Tile Works, Buckley, Flintshire, North Wales.
Charles Davison's Ewloe Barn Brick and Tile Works and Old Ewloe works was active from 1933 to 1951.
The bricks were possibly from the heavy industrial work in the area, such as Atlas Glass works or even Varleys.
Adamantine is a super durable hard fired brick
