Victorian Tile. Greenbank. St Helens.
St Helens Town Centre, Circa 1895's
Credit: Philip Wilkinson
Victorian hearth tile found with three others in Greenbank. St Helens.
There is no name on the back to identify the maker, therefore unclear if this was made in Staffordshire (Minton or Campbell). Could have been made locally at St Helens brick and Tiles works (active from circa 1880) later to become the Tea Pot Potteries (circa 1920's) that was close to Greenbank.

I found this exact tile in Lismore NSW Australia in the premises of Lismore Medical Clinic on a fireplace hearth. I took a photo and google searched. This is the information site that matched.
