In 1975, Parr Secondary School opened an annexe at Parr Mount C of E secondary school. This was the year when the school leaving age was raised to 16 and Parr Mount school closed.

The Annexe in Sorogold Street was to be used as a base for Year 7 newcomers. The film shows some unusual activity in the playground.
