Roughdales bricks were made at Ibstock’s Roughdales factory on Chester Lane, Marshalls Cross. St Helens.
Brick making has been carried on their site for around 150 years. This brick was found on one of the many tracks around the old landfill land next to the location of the old brick making factory. Housing has started to be now be built on the site.
