Located at Gerards Bridge close to Fosters Park. The railway line on the Liverpool to Wigan Northwestern line.
As the lines disappear in the distance to the left there is a disused line and bridge that once went to Gerards Bridge station that was on the St Helens to the Rainford/Ormskirk line that has been disused for many years.
This line travels onwards at the side of Cowley Hill land and Rainford Brook coming out at Washway Lane. St Helens.
