On the right is the Burgy Banks and on the left would have been the old site of the Globe chemical works.
On the other side of the railway bridge would have been the site of the old Gerards Bridge Chemical works. This is now a retail park and previous to this it was Gerards Bridge Depot, the St Helens councils operational building works servicing the local council estates in St Helens.
