John King is towing tug (completed by Charles Hill and Sons, Bristol in 1936) which incorporates items manufactured at John Roby Ltd., Rainhill. She worked on the River Avon and around Bristol Docks including fighting fires at the Pembroke Dock oil installation in 1940 and moving SS Great Britain into the Great Western Dock in 1970. She was purchased by Bristol Industrial Museum in 1995 and survives as a working museum ship for Bristol Museums. She is listed on the National Historic Ships Register.
